Council Welcomes Nolan Pike as New Member and Commissioner
The Council on Competitiveness is pleased to welcome Nolan Pike, President & CEO, Electrolux North America, as a new member and a commissioner on the Council's National Commission on Innovation and Competitiveness Frontiers. Council president & CEO Deborah Wince-Smith noted, "Nolan will bring a wealth of experience and insight to the Council and to our continuing work to enhance U.S. manufacturing driven by innovation, resilience and sustainability."
Speaking of his enthusiasm for the Council's work and the National Commission, Pike said, "Every day, we focus on innovation that helps families live more sustainably and limit their food and water waste. Our partnership with the Council will allow us to gain insights from national leaders who are discovering the next generation of competitive, sustainable solutions. This will help us design and manufacture better appliances for our consumers.”

Nolan Pike joined Electrolux in 2013. He was previously Senior Vice President of Electrolux Consumer Experience Area Taste. His earlier career includes a number of senior management positions in GE and Sears Holding Corp.
