Indya Kincannon has been Mayor of the City of Knoxville since December 2019.  Her professional experience also includes being the Chairperson and Member of Knox County Board of Education, a teacher in Slovenia and Baltimore, MD, Guest Faculty at Harvard University and a Budget Analyst for the Arizona State Legislature.  Mayor Kincannon is also a Board Member of several professional service organizations.  Further, she is a strong believer in, and involved in, many community service organizations.

Mayor Kincannon holds degrees from the University of Barcelona, Haverford College, Princeton University and the University of Tennessee.
