The Council on Competitiveness (Council) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) launched the American Energy and Manufacturing Competitiveness (AEMC) Partnership in 2012 as a joint effort between DOE’s Clean Energy Manufacturing Initiative and the Council. This multi-year initiative sponsored a series of national dialogues across the United States throughout 2013, 2014 and 2015, identifying concrete actions and policy solutions to increase U.S. competitiveness in the production of clean energy products and U.S. manufacturing competitiveness across the board by boosting energy productivity.
