Dr. Aric Hagberg is a research scientist and Division Leader of the Computer, Computational, and Statistical Sciences Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He is an expert in network science, applied mathematics, and computational physics, and leads research efforts that apply advanced computing to solve national security challenges.
Dr. Hagberg earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Arizona and his B.A. in Mathematics and Physics from St. Olaf College. His work spans infrastructure resilience, epidemiological modeling, and information security. A committed mentor and collaborator, he actively supports partnerships across government, academia, and industry to advance computational science.
