
Mike Cassling serves as Chairman of the Board for CQuence Health and Cassling, two Omaha-based healthcare organizations he helped shape over nearly four decades. Mike joined Cassling in 1985 and advanced through leadership roles, becoming President in 1996 and later Chairman. In 2011, he founded CQuence Health to accelerate healthcare innovation through strategic guidance, professional services, and investment capital.
In 2025, Mike led the transition of both companies to 100% employee ownership through ESOPs, ensuring long-term independence and preserving their culture and mission. Today, he provides strategic oversight as Board Chair while focusing on governance and community leadership.
Mike also serves as Chairman of the Board of Governors for the Aksarben Foundation, Vice Chair for Omaha Performing Arts (OPA), and sits on the boards of The Salvation Army, CyncHealth, Bellevue University, and the Nebraska Health Information Initiative. He also
serves on the Advisory Board for the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Additionally, Mike is Founding Chair of the Nebraska Tech Collaborative. He holds a degree in accounting and marketing from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and completed the Graduate School of Sales and Marketing at Syracuse University.
