In 2013, the Council on Competitiveness began a series of dialogues as part of the American Energy & Manufacturing Competitiveness (AEMC) Partnership; a three-year effort in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) to bolster American competitiveness through advanced clean energy manufacturing and increased energy productivity, and to address the dynamic changes affecting the national and global energy landscape.
The four AEMC Partnership dialogues held in 2013 culminated in the inaugural American Energy and Manufacturing Competitiveness Summit in Washington, D.C., on December 12th at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.
