Bobbi-Jo Meuleman took on the role as the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce CEO and President on October 2, 2023. As President and CEO, she promotes, supports, and advocates for the Treasure Valley business community.
Before being named President and CEO, Bobbi-Jo was the Deputy Chief of Staff for Governor Brad Little where she leads governmental affairs with Idaho’s federal, state, county, city, and tribal partners.
Prior to joining Governor Little’s administration in his personal office, Bobbi-Jo was the Director of the Idaho Department of Commerce, leading economic development efforts for the Gem State, and fostering ways of assisting communities, citizens, businesses, and visitors. Bobbi-Jo originally joined Idaho Commerce as the Chief Operating Officer in June 2016 where she managed department staff and operations.
Bobbi-Jo’s government career began in Washington, D.C. working for Congressman Denny Rehberg (R-MT) and Senator Conrad Burns (R-MT). From 2009 to 2016, Bobbi-Jo worked in the Office of Idaho Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter, most recently as his Deputy Chief of Staff.
Bobbi-Jo received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Montana in Political Science with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. In 2017, Bobbi-Jo was an Idaho Business Review’s Accomplished Under 40 honoree. She received the Idaho Economic Development Presidents Award in 2018. Bobbi-Jo was a 2020 Women’s and Children’s Alliance TWIN Recipient. In 2022 she received the Associated General Contractors Presidents Cup Award. She lives in Boise with her husband Patrick and their sons, Wyatt (11) and Wayne (9) and their dog Pete.
