Chuck Bondurant is Director of the Critical Infrastructure Security and Risk Management (CISRM) division at the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) where he focuses on cyber and physical security, and emergency management outreach to both electric and water utilities in Texas. He is a native Texan and appreciates the challenge to protect the states’ critical infrastructure. Before joining the PUCT, Chuck served in the Army for 23-years (1995-2018) in several positions. His final duty assignment before retiring was with the 1st Cavalry Division in Ft Hood, TX where he served as the Division Cybersecurity Chief overseeing network security and incident response management. He received a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Park University (2005), a Master of Arts in Information Technology Management from Webster University (2014), and an Executive Master of Public Service and Administration (EMPSA) degree with a track in Homeland Security from Texas A&M university (2022).
