David Mendoza Jr. is an Information Security Manager who specializes in digital forensics/incident response, vulnerability management, security awareness, and security operations for San Antonio Water Systems (SAWS).

Oversees the security posture for San Antonio Water System that serves 2 million people in Bexar County as well as parts of Medina and Atascosa counties.  The population includes more than 511,300 water customers and 457,600 wastewater customers.

Served as the Chief Information Security Officer for Texas A&M University – San Antonio

Retired First Sergeant with 21 years of service to the United States Army and held leadership roles from Section, Platoon, Company, and Brigade.
