Gustavo Sergi is the CEO of Sustainea and former Director of Specialties and Renewable Chemicals at Braskem. Since joining Braskem in 2005, he has held leadership roles across investments, marketing, strategy, M&A, and operations, later becoming General Manager for Renewable Chemicals and subsequently leading the Specialty Chemicals business.

Before Braskem, Gustavo worked at Credit Suisse and in the sugar and ethanol sector, contributing to the formation of Atvos. He holds a degree in Production Engineering from Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia (IMT), completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and earned an MBA from INSEAD.
