Josh is a proud 5th Generation Colorado native with deep roots in the political, business and LGBTQ communities. Josh started his career working in Washington D.C. for Senator Salazar and his brother Congressman Salazar. Additionally, he worked for Senator Bernie Sanders, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congresswoman Gabby Giffords. In 2011, Josh moved back to his home city of Denver where he worked for Mayor Michael Hancock’s first campaign, State Senator Joyce Foster in the Colorado General Assembly, Served as Political Director to Congresswoman Diana DeGette and managed Webb Group International which is a Government Affairs and Campaign consulting firm led by Mayor Wellington Webb (Denver’s First Black Mayor). Currently, he is the Senior Manager of Government Affairs and Community Engagement for Verizon in Colorado, Utah and Kansas.
