Liliana Ramirez is a dedicated Ford employee, joining the company in 1993 after serving as a civilian logistician for the United States Army. She has a passion for people in manufacturing and is recognized for her ability to develop and execute strategic plans and turn visions into reality.
In her 31 years with Ford, Ramirez has held leadership roles within Global Lean Manufacturing, North America Learning & Development and Global Six Sigma. She has extensive manufacturing experience in powertrain and stamping divisions.
In her current role as Director of Workforce Development, she is leading the development and implementation of workforce development strategies to transform and prepare the manufacturing workforce with direct responsibility for BlueOval City and Battery Manufacturing facilities.
She is committed to mentoring and sponsoring women, on both a professional and personal level.
Born in Chicago and raised in Colombia, South America, Ramirez currently resides in Michigan. She is the proud mother of three boys, Bradley (37), Jacob (26) and Zachary (25) and two grandsons, Jack Wild (4) & Huck McKiney (3). She inspires her sons to be hardworking, independent, and passionate about life.
