TLSI Dialogue 8 was held on October 22, 2012, at the Virginia Tech Research Center in Arlington, VA.

TLSI Dialogue 9 was held on June 4, 2013, at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

The first-ever CTO Peer-to-Peer meeting took place at the Science and Technology in Society forum (STS forum) on October 6-7, 2013, in Kyoto, Japan. Two dozen researchers and technology leaders from industry, academia, and laboratories from the United States, Europe and Japan participated in the conversations.
